In Person & Online Counsellors

The counsellors at Therapy-Talk are under clinical supervision of their work, hold a recognised qualification in counselling and have extensive experience in a variety of settings, from public sector to corporate clients, such as employee assistance programmes (EAPs).

We are a team of independent counsellors that collaborate professionally and offer their experience in different areas of counselling, training and human resources management.

Our mission is to increase awareness and promote personal development.

Qualifications:

BA (Hons) in Person Centred Counselling, Middlesex University & Metanoia Institute, 2000; Diploma in Person Centred Counselling, Metanoia Institute, 1997; Post Graduate Certificate in Educational Skills, UAX University & ICSE, 2009; CPD on Critical Incident Debriefing, Centre for Stress Management, 2002; Post Graduate Training in Brief Work in Counselling using the Person Centred Approach, Metanoia Institute, 1999 and Training in Bereavement & Loss Counselling, Wandsworth Bereavement Service, 1995.

Work Approach & Experience:

I have an extensive background as a consultant, trainer and career/life coach in the fields of human resources development and twenty-five years' experience working as a counsellor.

I have acquired additional competences in case management, client assessment, referral to a diverse team of therapists and evaluation procedures throughout the UK, as a case manager and counsellor in employee assistance programmes (EAPs), such as Ceridian Lifeworks, UK. In addition, I served as a counsellor for the Refugee Support Centre, Vauxhall and the Bereavement Service in Wandsworth, London.
